Moyka is currently on the radar within a new generation of alternative pop from Norway. Since her EPs Circles (2019) and Spaces (2020), we have followed Moyka on her journey as an artist, songwriter, and producer, without her ever compromising her true self. She has built up a catalog with a clear identity and garnered attention from international heavyweights like Billboard, Notion, and The Line of Best Fit. PopJustice named her one of the best popstars operating in the world today and called her EP Spaces a masterpiece. She started out playing at several showcases, including Øyafestivalen, by:Larm, and Trondheim Calling (NO), The Great Escape First Fifty and JaJaJa (UK), Eurosonic (NL), Linecheck (IT) and Reeperbahn (GER).

In 2019 she played support for Sigrid, a tour which ended with a sold out 3Arena in Dublin. She was nominated for the Anchor Award at Reeperbahn Festival 2019, and then chosen as Amazon Music’s Weekly One. Later they named Moyka “One To Watch” 2022. Recently Moyka sold out Sebright Arms in London, and played for a packed Gaukurinn at Iceland Airwaves. This year she’s touring the biggest festivals in Norway, and have the gained three syncs on the anticipated last season of Young Royals (Netflix).
